While the mahogany body sits with comfortable balance on the player thanks to the offset design, the bolt-on maple neck in a U-profile promises comfortable playing characteristics. With a nut width of 42 mm, the fingerboard made of Macassar ebony also offers enough space for clean finger placement between the 21 extra jumbo frets.

While the EMG PHZ split-coil pickup in the middle position provides a powerful sound with pressing low end and the right amount of brilliance, the EMG LJHZ stacked single-coil at the bridge convinces not only with the enormous assertiveness of its presently focused mids, but also with a hum-free performance.
