The cable is suitable for analog and digital AES/EBU signals and features high-quality oxygen-free copper (OFC) conductors, which guarantee good conductivity and are extremely insensitive to interference due to an effective spiral shield and symmetrical signal routing. This results in undistorted signal transmission with no significant losses even over longer distances of up to 200 meters. In addition, the conductor insulation made of FPE and the outer jacket have a high degree of flexibility and at the same time robustness. The cable is thus resistant and also easy to install. What does balanced signal transmission mean?

Balanced transmission is used in the professional field, for example in recording studios, as it ensures freedom from interference even over longer distances. These cables have another conductor carrying the useful signal, through which the same voltage is sent, but whose oscillations are mirror-inverted. Any interference thus has an even effect on the signal conductors. Since the useful signal consists of opposite-pole voltage values, the interference is practically cancelled out by difference formation.
