Special yard goods in vintage style

Vintage style has gained a lot of popularity again as people appreciate a certain nostalgia. This look is reminiscent of very special moments and brings back memories of groundbreaking artists and performers. The CXI of EDITION 25 offers this great look. Its textile cover in the colours anthracite and copper makes a statement and thus enhances the stage set.

However, the guitar cable is not only something for the eye, but also impresses with its excellent properties. Its conductor cross-section of 0.5 mm² is more generous than conventional cables and therefore promises a good signal strength. Good signal transmission is achieved by a double shielding consisting of a braiding of bare copper wires on conductive plastic. It protects against interference signals and minimizes microphony effects.

Good quality due to Neutrik connectors

The EDITION 25-SILENT has connectors from Neutrik, which, as usual, impress with their excellent quality and performance. To ensure reliable protection against corrosion, the contacts of both plugs are provided with a gold coating. A silentPLUG is used for the connection to the instrument.

What is a silentPLUG?

Often there is a loud crash when plugging and unplugging the instrument, which is not only unpleasant to listen to, but in the worst case can also damage amps and drum heads. And unfortunately this can happen faster than expected. A silentPLUG prevents this by muting the instrument cable at the exact moment it is plugged in or unplugged. This makes changing instruments almost noiseless. The Neutrik model connects plus and ground through a small movable magnetic switch, which creates a short circuit. The inside of the switch is hermetically sealed.

To ensure that the silentPLUG can also be used under heavy load, it is equipped with Neutrik's proven collet strain relief. In addition, the rubber jacket ensures good shock resistance.

IMPORTANT! The silentPLUG may only be used on the instrument. If you plug it into an amplifier output, this can be damaged!

The signal is not "muted" on active electric basses with tip-ring sleeve tap to activate the power supply.
