Painted in a beautiful Custom color and equipped with PRS 85/15 humbuckers and the piezo system developed together with LR Baggs this electric guitar sets both optical and tonal highlights and furthermore convinces with flawless workmanship.

The PRS Custom 24 Piezo CC Mahi Blue impresses with a first-class finish and delivers particularly versatile sounds thanks to 85/15 pickups and a piezo pickup system.

The glued mahogany neck of the PRS Custom 24 Piezo fits comfortably in the hand with its slim "Pattern Thin" profile.

Noble woods with custom finishes

For the construction of the Custom 24 Piezo Mahi Blue the guitar builders and Paul Reed Smith use only selected woods that lead to a perfect sound experience. Accordingly, a mahogany body with maple top and a glued mahogany neck are used under the light blue custom color finish. The perfectly proportioned "Pattern Thin" neck profile also creates the best conditions for easy implementation of classic and modern playing techniques. On the rosewood fingerboard, naturally the coveted Bird inlays provide the best orientation between the 24 frets.

The PRS Custom 24 Piezo delivers a wide range of premium guitar tones with two PRS 85/15 humbuckers and a piezo system developed in conjunction with LR Baggs.

PRS 85/15 humbucker and piezo system

Two PRS 85/15 h umbuckers are used as pickups on the Custom 24 Piezo. Developed personally by Paul Reed Smith , the pickups reflect the experience of 30 years of the Maryland guitar builder in a contemporary sound and convince with a remarkably clear sound that makes every played note shine. Via the 5-way blade switch, the coils of the humbuckers can be called up in different combinations, so that several sound nuances are available in the guitar sound. furthermore, the piezo pickup system developed together with LR Baggs is available, via which authentic acoustic guitar sounds can be realized. Thanks to two output jacks, the signals from both pickup systems can be routed to separate amps if desired.

On the headstock of the PRS Custom 24 Piezo, PRS Phase III locking tuners provide stable and accurate tuning.

High quality hardware

The equipment of the PRS Custom 24 Piezo CC Mahi Blue is completed by high-quality Hardware from our own house. On the body side, the strings find support on the proven PRS tremolo, which convinces with smooth handling and high functionality and offers a comfortable support for the hand thanks to rounded edges. The independently adjustable tail pieces also house the piezo elements from LR Baggs. At the headstock, the strings run with a straight pull from the nut to the PRS Phase III locking tuners. These guarantee high tuning stability even with frequent vibrato use and make string changes much easier. The PRS Custom 24 is also delivered in a noble PRS case, which offers the electric guitar the best possible protection during transport.
