The Mayones Regius Gothic 6 Antique Black is especially designed for modern metal with a focus on hard as nails sounds, fast riffing and professional stage-suitability. A Seymour Duncan Black Winter in the limited'Blackened' version at the bridge provides more than sufficient output reserves with aggressive voicing and rock-hard attack, not least thanks to the fixed ABM Fixed Bridge with large contact area. Especially for work in the studio and on stage, string changes and tuning stability are no problem for the Gothic 6 thanks to Hipshot Locking mechanisms, while luminous Luminlay Side Dots provide an absolute overview even on dark stages.

11-striped neck for speedy fingers

For the construction of the neck Mayones uses no less than 11 individual wooden strips consisting of maple, wenge, amazakoe and mahogany to give the slim neck in the D-profile indestructible stability and directly appealing resonance characteristics. Thanks to the neck-thru construction of the Regius Gothic 6, the instrument does without a disturbing neck foot and offers unimpeded access to the highest positions of the fingerboard.

A Seymour Duncan 'Blackened' Black Winter on the bridge delivers aggressive sounds with a tight response in connection with the ABM Fixed Bridge.

At the footbridge of the Mayones Regius Gothic 6 Antique Black a Seymour Duncan Black Winter Humbucker provides appropriate sounds of modern metal. With three large ceramic magnets and overwound coils, Black Winter is one of the hottest in the Seymour Duncan line-up, targeting Black Metallers and Extreme Shredders. The limited'Blackened' version features two adjustable Hex Screw coils and a dark grey Seymour Duncan Script logo.

ABM Fixed Bridge & Hipshot Tuners

The ABM Fixed Bridge is the perfect addition to the Mayones Regius Gothic 6 with individually adjustable string riders and a wide contact surface on the body, while the ultra-flat and frameless profile of the ABM Fixed Bridge provides a comfortable palm rest for Palm Mutes and Rhythm Chugs, while intonation and height can be precisely adjusted for each string. On the headstock, however, modern Hipshot Grip-Lock mechanisms are used. Thanks to the locking function, all strings are not only changed in record time, but also have immediate tuning stability thanks to fewer axis windings.
