At the same time, hand-wound Mayones TKO by Bare Knuckle pickups provide differentiated timbres of modern character, whose sharp tone definition also skillfully implements drop tunings at high gain. A high-quality hardware equipment with locking tuners and bridge by Hipshot as well as S-Locks by Schaller completes the Regius 6 Graphite Burst guitar by Mayones.

For the luxurious neck-through construction of the Regius 6 electric guitar, Mayones relies on carefully selected woods that guarantee a premium look and sound. The heart of the electric guitar is the full-length and extremely robust neck made of maple, mahogany, ovangkol and wenge. The swamp ash body wings also support a top made of curly maple in intensely figured AAA quality. Optimal playing characteristics up to the 24th stainless steel fret of the ebony fingerboard are also guaranteed by the flat D-neck profile with 16" fingerboard radius.

Mayones TKO by Bare Knuckle Pickups

For the pickup of the Regius 6, Mayones chooses two TKO by Bare Knuckle humbuckers, whose sound is perfectly tailored to the needs of progressive rock and metal guitarists. The TKO neck humbucker uses classic Alnico V magnets to deliver an open sound with woody warmth for crystal clear cleans and precisely resolved chords. In the bridge position, meanwhile, the TKO Bridge Humbucker , armed with ceramic magnets, delivers powerful and focused tones that portray every note with absolute precision, even at high gain settings. While the coil split option expands the repertoire of the Regius 6 and bell-like single coil tones, the treble bleed Circuit on the volume control prevents unwanted sound loss when turning down the volume.
