With the construction of the Charvel USA Select So-Cal Style 1, the Californian guitar builders demonstrate their sense of tradition and produce the alder body, while the screwed neck and the fingerboard are made of maple and rosewood. Accordingly, the electric guitar has a balanced primary sound with crisp attack, which is perfect for fast solos and crisp riffs. Thanks to the slender neck profile and the fretboard with ascending compound radius, they come loose out of the fingers.

Variable with DiMarzio Pickups

The Charvel USA Select So-Cal Style 1 HSS FR uses a humbucker and two DiMarzio single coils mounted on a classic pickguard. While the DiMarzio DP116 HS-2 Single Coils placed in neck and middle position convince with bell-like clear sounds without disturbing background noises, the DiMarzio DP100 Super Distortion at the bridge delivers powerful sounds, which especially in the high gain channel of the amplifier forging fat riffs and screeching solos. A 5-way blade switch and a master volume control are available to control the pickups.

Tuning stability thanks to Floyd Rose

Besides its excellent sound, the CHARVEL USA Select So-Cal Style 1 HSS FR Torred convinces with high-quality hardware. The proven Floyd Rose Tremolo promises absolute tuning stability even after the heaviest Divebombs and most aggressive Whammy Bar inserts, while Charvel Locking mechanisms make string changes much easier.
