The classic design of the body is made of alder, while the screwed neck and fingerboard are made of maple. This combination promises a balanced primary tone, which is perfectly suited for the representation of crisp riffs and virtuoso solos. These come loose out of the fingers on the slenderly profiled neck and the fretboard with compound radius.

DiMarzio Humbucker for powerful sounds

The tone conversion of the Charvel USA Select San Dimas Style 2 HH is done by two humbuckers from DiMarzio. The neck-placed DiMarzio DP151 PAF Pro impresses with its warm vintage sound, which presents chords and melodies in the clean channel with a harmonious balance and lets solos sing with gentle overdrive. Its counterpart is the DiMarzio DP100 Super Distortion on the bridge, which lets its muscles play especially during heavy distortion and brings riffs or solos with precise articulation and focused mid-spectrum to your ears. The pickups are managed in a straight line via a 5-way blade switch and a master volume control.
