With the Epiphone Firebird RubyRed Metallic, Epiphone presents a special edition of the iconic guitar model and delivers it in a special finish. The reissue of the iconic Firebird model from 1963 comes with authentic features that come close to the broad sound of the Gibson original and impresses with its clean handling and dense sound. The mahogany body wings are connected by a neck-through construction to the nine-piece mahogany-walnut neck, which has a slim shape thanks to its slim taper C-profile and offers pleasant playability. The fretboard made of Indian Laurel comes with a classic 12" radius and offers a pleasant feel when complex riffs or leads are required.

Pickups Two Epiphone ProBucker FB720 mini humbuckers
At the heart of the Firebird Ruby Red Metallic are two Epiphone ProBucker FB720 mini-humbuckers in the neck and bridge position, which despite their compact size deliver a rich Output and are characterized by a dynamic frequency response. Drive-heavy genres in particular benefit from a dense timbre without sacrificing dynamics. Both pickups can be fine-tuned via two separate volume and tone controls, while a 3-way switch is used to control the pickup. This pickup configuration allows genres from Blues to rock to be handled cleanly - but the Epiphone Firebird doesn't have to shy away from harder styles!
The Grover mini tuners ensure a stable tuning.
Golden hardware
The golden hardware finish further enhances the chic Ruby Red finish and gives the electric guitar a great look. Under the glamorous hood is a LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge and a LockTone Stopbar tailpiece, which combine to ensure robust string action and intonation. Grover Mini tuners, which also shine in beautiful gold, are available for clean tuning.
