Mahogany V-Body & Big-'C' Neck

For the basic construction of the Jetwing, Maybach Guitars uses solid mahogany wood, which gives the guitar its unmistakable sound character. The traditional set-neck construction with a resonant glue joint between the neck heel and body also plays a role that should not be underestimated. The neck of the Jetwing is quite sturdy in the style of the fifties and offers a comfortable thumb rest for controlled handling in all positions of the rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets.

Amber Spirit or '59 & Supernova Custom

The two Amber humbuckers cover a particularly wide range of possible sounds and know how to impress in almost every area with first-class sounds. While the Amber Spirit or '59, wound in the classic P.A.F. style, evokes the best sound characteristics of the late fifties and is ideal for warm, vocal jazz lines and differentiated Chords , the Amber Supernova Custom, installed in the bridge position, offers additional Output for all applications from Classic rock to modern high gain thanks to its hotter coil winding. The wiring, on the other hand, remains true to the classic model with two volume controls and shared treble control.
