The Epiphone Masterbilt Gem Archer Sheraton is a high-quality signature guitar that was developed in close resemblance to the original model that Gem Archer - known from Oasis, Beady Eye and Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds - has been playing for decades. A modern interpretation of the classic 1958 Sheraton, this model combines traditionalsemi-hollow construction with premium components at custom store level. The 5-ply maple/poplar body with solid maple center block provides high feedback resistance, while the one-piece mahogany neck in a comfortable 60s C profile offers a smooth playing feel. A rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets as well as block and abalone triangle inlays underline the luxurious character of the instrument. High-quality gold hardware such as an ABR-1 bridge, a raised Diamond trapezoid tailpiece, Grover Rotomatic tuners with milk-bottle buttons and a Graph Tech nut guarantee reliability and tuning stability. The sound is provided by two Gibson USA mini humbuckers, which are controlled via CTS pots, Mallory capacitors and Switchcraft electronics and thus deliver the unmistakable Gibson sound. The elegant vintage gloss finish and the typical Masterbilt double-diamond detail on the back of the headstock complete the look. A matching Epiphone hardshell Case is also included.
