The Fostex PC100USB-HR2 is a compact volume control designed specifically for USB-based audio connections. This device enables precise control of the volume of headphones and speaker systems via a simple user interface. Thanks to its robust design and compact size, the PC100USB-HR2 is ideal for use on desks or in mobile setups. The device supports high-resolution audio inputs of up to 96 kHz and 24 bit and is compatible with both Windows and Mac operating systems without the need for additional drivers.

Features include a volume control, a headphone connection (3.5 mm jack) and RCA outputs for connection to external speakers or amplifiers. Power is supplied via USB bus power, eliminating the need for a separate power supply unit. In addition, a link indicator signals the status of the connection and shows the sampling frequency used by means of different colors.
