The 2 Zone Sk iff from Make Noise is the latest version of the popular Skiff case. The Case offers space for 3U modules on a row with 104 HP installation space. The maximum installation depth is 50 mm. The case itself boasts a high-quality finish, a powder-coated surface and rubber feet. The manufacturer has paid particular attention to the development of the 2-zone backplane. The backplane supplies +12 V: 2000 mA / -12 V: 1200 mA / 5 V: 1000 mA and offers 16 connections, which are divided into two zones (8 + 8 connections). This is particularly useful if you want to separate digital and analog modules from each other and reduce any interference to a minimum. In addition, this switched, linear power supply ensures excellent load regulation. Even the ground return path is derived individually for each zone.
