Avantone headphones

The Avantone Planar the II in Crème are high-precision headphones for use in the recording studio for mixing and mastering. They boast a wide, particularly linear frequency range of 30 to 30,000Hz, which means they cover almost the entire audible spectrum relevant for Mix . Thanks to the magnetostatic drivers , they are also capable of very fast transient reproduction and, with their sound pressure limit of over 130dB , can reproduce even the smallest dynamic differences. This also makes them suitable for tasks that go beyond classic counter listening: Especially in the context of the overall mix, adjusting compressor parameters, finding resonances or overemphasis, but also controlling the depth gradation can be easier with them than with the existing studio monitors. We recommend using the headphones with a separate headphone amplifier, for example from SPL.
