With six different controls, the Strymon Cloudburst reverb pedal makes it easy to try out and discover the most individual settings. The reverb effect can be extended up to 50 seconds by a Decay control and delayed with the Pre-Delay. A Tone control gives the Reverb everything from warm, deep tones to clear and crisp highs, which can be done in a variation from Full-Dry to Full-Wet through the Mix . A Mod control provides further adjustment options.
With the new Cloudburst Reverb Strymon brings an effect pedal for electric guitars on the market, which refines the idea of reverb by almost infinite sound possibilities and enchanting additional elements. Inside the compact foot pedal is a powerful reverb algorithm, which makes the guitar sing in typical Reverb classic and treble, and spreads wide decay sounds gently like clouds over additional ensemble sounds. Equipped with stereo in/out, TRS MIDI interface and USB-C connector on the back, the Strymon Cloudburst is versatile.
The noteworthy gem of this pedal is the new Ensemble effect, which takes the guitar signal through a corresponding switch in two different positions and reproduces a harmonic sound reminiscent of string and Infinity pad synthesizers. The mezzo-piano setting amplifies the reverb signal with muted background string elements, which can take a juicy grip in the forte position of the ensemble effect. The result is a balanced accompaniment to the ambient reverb effect that adjusts according to fretboard position and pickup usage.
On the back of the Cloudburst Reverb are two universally usable in- and Output jacks, which can be adjusted by a mono and Stereo switch. An expression pedal and TRS MIDI jack can be used in four different modes through the Mix knob, which are user-friendly and indicated by the front LED light. In addition, an analogue JFET input circuit ensures flawless responsiveness. Completing the Cloudburst's connections is a USB-C port through which over 300 MIDI presets can be loaded onto the compact effects pedal.
