The Keeley Blues Disorder effect pedal works via two different circuits, each of which generates two different overdrive and distortion circuits, which means that there are four different drives in the Blues Disorder. This expands the functions of the pedal to a large extent, allowing many individual settings to be achieved, from soft Overdrive to hard distortion - and all this via a completely analog signal path!
In addition to the three conventional main controls for Tone, Level and Drive, the Blues Disorder has two toggle switches that can be set independently of each other between BB and OC mode. While the BB function produces a slight Overdrive , the OC mode provides a broad distortion sound - here, both modes for Tone and Drive can be set independently of each other and adjusted to suit your own requirements. This makes it possible to create various hybrid drives, allowing a wide range of distortion to be achieved. In addition to true bypass, there is also a buffered bypass function that can be activated when the footswitch is held down: If the footswitch is pressed for two seconds, the LED display flashes 2x for True Bypass and 3x for Buffered Bypass. Overall, the Blues Disorder pedal from Keeley offers a wide range of overdrive options that can be used in a variety of ways thanks to two analog circuits.
