With the Ibanez AAD190CE-WKH Weathered Black Open Pore, the traditional Japanese manufacturer presents a new acoustic guitar from its proven Advanced Acoustic Series. Construction and sound

Due to its grand dreadnought design, the AAD190CE-WKH has a particularly large body, which produces a very assertive sound thanks to its voluminous resonance body. This is enriched by its okume body and okume top and a warm note. The X-M bracing used here ensures excellent vibration behavior, while the open-pored finish guarantees an almost attack with a long-lasting tone.

Handling

The Nyathoh neck with comfortable low-oval grip and ovankol fingerboard sits extremely well in the hand and, with its 43 mm nut width, meets all the requirements for flatpicking and strumming. The tortoise pickguard also prevents material damage when playing picks. A compensated saddle made of bone ensures a flat string position, which makes fingering much easier, while a practical cutaway allows easy access to the high positions. In addition to the comfortable playability, the guitar is equipped with other features for pleasant handling. For example, the Ibanez Advantage bridge pins used here make it easier to change strings. They have a stopper that makes it easier to remove and insert them. The effective die-cast tuners also guarantee high tuning stability.

Electronics

The Ibanez AP11 pickup system with regulation in the frame also enables amplified playing. This creates the ultimate sound experience, even on stage or during loud jam sessions, as this design captures all frequencies evenly and passes them on to the amplifier without distortion.
