The solid Sitka spruce top brings clear highs and dynamic response, while the solid Sapele back and sides add warmth, punchy mids, and rounded lows. Beneath the top, Scalloped X-bracing enhances resonance and volume while preserving tonal clarity, providing excellent projection and sensitivity. The mahogany neck, a time-tested tonewood in acoustic construction, is shaped to Martin's Modified Low Oval profile with a 44.45 mm nut width - a comfortable fit for a wide range of playing styles. Paired with a smooth ebony fingerboard, the neck allows the fretting hand to move fluidly across all 20 frets, making complex fingerings and long sessions a breeze. Tuning and intonation are equally reliable: nickel open-gear tuners offer smooth, precise adjustments, while the compensated bone saddle and ebony bridge ensure long-term stability and accurate pitch across the full 645 mm scale length.
