With the Walrus Audio ACS1 MKII, the brand presents an updated version of the popular Mako ACS1 that not only faithfully recreates legendary amps but also offers flexible operation thanks to a user-friendly OLED screen allowing quick and intuitive adjustment of all parameters. The pedal features six amp models inspired by iconic amplifiers in music history. The three vintage types Fullerton, London, and Dartford are high-quality models of the Fender Deluxe Reverb, the 1962 Marshall Bluesbreaker, and the iconic Vox AC30. For players seeking more saturated drive tones, three high-gain models are included. Red emulates the metal classic Peavey 5150, Citrus delivers a warm Orange Rockerverb sound, and Tread captures the gritty Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier. With twelve premium IRs from Tone Factor and York Audio, the ACS1 MKII captures every sonic nuance from warm vintage cleans to powerful blues, rock, and metal tones. A standout feature is the ability to use two different amps with separate cabinet simulations simultaneously which is ideal for stereo setups. Additionally, the USB-C port lets you load your own IRs and firmware updates keeping the pedal customizable for years to come.

Maximum control and precise sound shaping

Beyond its excellent amp and cab simulation, the ACS1 MKII offers extensive tone shaping options. The built-in 3-band EQ for bass, mid, and treble allows precise tailoring of your sound for any setup while the noise gate eliminates unwanted hiss during pauses. The Presence and Resonance control provides additional clarity and tonal refinement. Three built-in reverb modes deliver authentic spatial depth and the boost switch with adjustable volume lets you add targeted signal lift perfect for solos or powerful rhythm parts. The pedal also features three user-configurable presets accessible at the touch of a button plus the ability to store and recall up to 128 presets via MIDI. With MIDI In and Thru connections, the ACS1 MKII integrates seamlessly into complex setups. A headphone output enables silent practice without sacrificing sound quality. The option to disable individual amp models or IRs and use the pedal in various rig configurations adds further flexibility.
