The Rycote Baseball (20/21) Black is a small 3" windscreen specifically designed for interior boom pole use. The Baseball greatly reduces 'swooshes' (unwanted noise artifacts caused by laminar airflow across the mic) that can be created by fast boom swings and other rapid movements. Fitted with a soft yet durable end-cap, the Baseball is made from thermoplastic elastomer and helps secure the mic and provide an effective seal against wind. The Baseball offers -30dB of wind noise attenuation, across the frequency spectrum. With rapid attachment and removal, this windscreen is durable and easily maintained.
