Groovebox fun in Bauhaus style

With the SEQTRAK, Yamaha presents a multifunctional groovebox with a focus on fast workflow and a wide range of sounds. The compact device combines an 11-track sequencer, a Stereo sampler, two different types of synthesis and the typical features of a groovebox.

In terms of sound generation, the SEQTRAK draws from the full range: with the AWM2 and FM (4-OP FM) synthesisers, two absolute classics from Yamaha's sound lab are on board. AWM2 offers a maximum of 128 voices, the more complex FM synthesis has to make do with 8-fold polyphony. Of course, all sounds can be extensively modified, filtered and assigned effects. With a total of 2032 sounds, there is something for pretty much every musical taste across all genres and for creating new music.

The sequencer offers 11 tracks that can be configured as drum, synth, DX or sampler tracks. The input is done in real time or via TR-Grid, both are very intuitive, and parameter locks can also be programmed.
The sample function records via the integrated MEMS microphone or the audio input in CD quality (44.1 kHz/ 16 bit) and enables the further processing of audio material in your own patterns.
With 12 reverb variants, 9 Delay variants, 85 master effects and just as many track effects plus a Master EQ for processing the stereo sum, everything is included to make the sound tinkerer's heart beat faster.
Other features include an integrated 1W speaker, WLAN and Bluetooth for wireless data exchange with compatible instruments or a smartphone or tablet and USB-C for the power supply including charging the internal battery, MIDI and audio.
