The Roland Verselab MV-1 (Black) is the perfect solution for all ambitious Musicians who find a complete Recording Studio too time-consuming and a Professional Studio Computer too expensive. The compact all-in-box offers a powerful 8-Track Sequencer, Sample integration, the latest ZEN-Core Synthesis (with over 3000x Sounds on-board) and can spice up a connected Microphone with Modern Effects.

Intuitive Operation

The Verselab is optimised for good workflow. Numerous Controls lead straight to dedicated Sections and Functions. The 16x Velocity-Sensitive Multi-Colour Pads and the TR Sequencer are the primary options when recording Beats and Melodies. If these are not enough, a MIDI Keyboard can also be connected. In addition, deeper interventions in the creative processes are possible via Smartphone or Tablet using the ZenCore App, which is available free of charge.

Sounds, Sampling & Vocals

The state-of-the-art Sound Generation of the MV-1 is based on the ZEN-Core Sound Engine and allows profound Sound Editing with up to 128x Voice Polyphony. Over 3000x professional Sounds and more than 80x Drum Kits are available, offering something for almost every taste. All Sounds can be given Delay, Chorus, Reverb & Multi-Effects thanks to the powerful Effects Processor. Detailed Sound changes and the organisation of the Sounds can also be carried out with the ZEN-Core App and, of course, on the Device itself. It is also possible to Sample a Beat from a connected CD Player, for example, and process it in your own Song. One of the Tracks is intended for Vocals, several takes can be Recorded and Arranged. If you need to do it quickly, you can use the Built-In Microphone directly, otherwise you can connect a Microphone directly to the Verselab and Record your own Voice or an Acoustic Guitar and add Effects.

Connections

At the front, there are Headphone Outputs with both 6.35mm & 3.5mm Headphone Jacks, which saves having to look for a suitable Adaptor in the heat of the moment. A Master Keyboard, for example, can be connected to the MIDI Input, which is a plus especially when playing Melodies and Bass Lines. Since the Internal Sequencer also Outputs MIDI Notes, you could control your favourite Synthesiser via MIDI Out and Sample directly via the Audio Input. Data Exchange takes place via SD Card and USB.
