The SSL2 MkII is a compact 2 in/2 Out USB audio interface that combines decades of Solid State Logic experience in a user-friendly format. Equipped with high-resolution 32-bit/192 kHz ESS converters, it guarantees first-class sound quality. Two microphone preamps with a gain range of 64 dB and a dynamic range of 116.5 dB offer excellent recording possibilities for microphones and instruments. The balanced monitor outputs and the high-quality headphone amplifier with two outputs on the front ensure precise and clear sound through both loudspeakers and headphones.

With the "Legacy 4K" switch, reminiscent of the legendary SSL 4000 consoles, additional sound coloration and an analog character can be added to the recordings. The practical USB loopback function makes it possible to integrate audio signals from other computer applications directly into a DAW, which is particularly useful for streaming or podcasting.

A comprehensive software package, which includes SSL plug-ins and licenses for programs such as Ableton Live, Loopcloud and Native Instruments, rounds off the device and provides a ready-to-use toolbox for music productions.
