The special basket design also reduces the proximity effect, effectively attenuating over-emphasized bass.

A 12 dB high-pass filter at 120 Hz can also be switched on and saves work on the desk. The basket is accessible from almost all directions so that resonances are effectively reduced by the microphone tube compared to conventional models.
