Rode presents the TF-5, a distinctly natural-sounding and high-resolution small-diaphragm stereo pair developed with British classical music master legend Tony Faulkner. Manufactured in Sydney and available exclusively as a hand-selected stereo pair, the TF-5 scores with a newly developed 1/2" cardioid capsule, which is to thank for its stunning, natural and musical sound. A low equivalent noise level of 14dBA and the high sensitivity of 35mV (!) allow recording of extremely quiet passages while maintaining detailed resolution. Thus, the TF-5 Set is particularly suitable for classical instruments. naturally, the microphones are also suitable for support.

But not only the sound, but also the design is convincing all along. Simple and elegant with a noble, matte black metal housing and scratch-resistant coating makes in the case very much, while the 10cm long and narrow condenser mics are easy to attach and position. To complete the already positive overall picture, two tripod clamps, two windshields and RODE's practical stereo rail SB20 were included in the delivery, which with its multiple scaling allows an equally precise and unproblematic XY, ORTF or small AB setup.
