The PDX520 is a dynamic microphone that has been specially developed for recording voices. With its warm and natural sound, it is ideal for broadcast, podcast and studio applications. Thanks to its cardioid polar pattern, the microphone effectively isolates unwanted background noise, even in acoustically difficult environments. The integrated switches for the low-cut filter and presence boost allow the sound to be adjusted quickly, reducing the need for post-processing. The low-cut filter reduces frequencies below 80 Hz, while the presence boost boosts the upper mid-range between 1 and 5 kHz to improve speech intelligibility.

The robust construction with integrated vibration damping system protects the sensitive capsule and ensures durability. The microphone comes with an integrated boom that serves as both a microphone stand mount and XLR connector.

Thanks to its dynamic design, the microphone does not require an external power supply, which makes it particularly versatile. At the same time, the high output level means that connection to a preamplifier is not necessary.
