The Sennheiser MKE 400 MkII is a professional shotgun microphone for use with a DSLR camera with microphone input. Compared to the MKE 200, the MKE 400 MkII offers significantly better directivity due to the longer shotgun tube for even better rejection of sound events arriving from outside the directivity axis. In addition, this microphone offers a headphone output for direct monitoring of the audio signal, a volume control and a switchable high-pass filter.

In addition to a TRS connection cable for the audio connection to the camera and a storage bag, an adapter cable TRS to TRRS is also included, so that the MKE 400 MkII can also be operated on a smartphone. The two AAA batteries required for operation are also included.
