Live production mixer with four SDI inputs

The Blackmagic Design ATEM SDI is a live production mixer designed specifically for broadcasters who value maximum mobility. The ATEM SDI mixers are very similar to the proven ATEM Mini models, but trump them with 3G SDI video connections and twice as many video outputs. The mixer features four scalable SDI inputs for incorporating multiple cameras for different perspectives of a performance, as well as two SDI outputs. Video cameras with SDI outputs are much higher quality because they perform better in low light and are compatible with professional lenses. For audio, there's a compressor, limiter, 6-band parametric EQ, and expander on each input in the Fairlight Mixer.

All video sources, regardless of their video standards, are resynchronized to match the mixer's video standard. Everything works by itself. Setup on location is easy and there are no hassles with technical problems. Signal outputs for video software

For maximum compatibility, all ATEM SDI models have a USB port on board that acts as a simple webcam source. Just plug it into a computer and start recording with any video software! The software reads ATEM SDIs as an ordinary webcam, when in fact they are live production mixers. This ensures full compatibility with any video software in full 1080HD resolution quality.

Use your favourite software such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Skype to create professional multicam-style broadcast-ready presentations. ATEM SDI's webcam signal output is also compatible with streaming software such as Open Broadcaster, XSplit Broadcaster and more.

Autonomous broadcast-quality image mixers.

The all-in-one design of the ATEM SDI mixers houses a control panel alongside the connectors. The control panel provides clear buttons for selecting sources, video effects and transitions. The presenter can feel the large source buttons without looking, and can mix the images himself. There are even buttons for mixing sound. The ATEM SDI Pro and Extreme models also have buttons for recording and streaming control, as well as selection buttons. These let you switch output signals between direct camera feeds, program and multiviewer.

Ultra-portable mixer generation for live productions!

This incredibly portable design lets you pack a complete broadcast-quality live production system into a small bag or backpack. So you can use multiple cameras on set and stream live directly to YouTube, or create a broadcast-quality studio link via an ATEM Streaming Bridge.

Unlike remote shoots with a single camera, you can create visually interesting remote interviews with multiple perspectives using multiple cameras connected to an ATEM SDI.

Work with professional microphones

You can connect desktop and lapel microphones to the two independent 3.5mm stereo jacks. You can even connect a music player and play introductory music between the start of the livestream and the start of the program. Clip-on microphones connected to the two stereo inputs professionally equip presenters and guests for the interview. For all audio inputs, the ATEM SDIs feature buttons on the control panel for adjusting audio levels and activating audio inputs in the internal mixer. All models are equipped with a Fairlight audio mixer.

The SDI inputs and both microphone inputs are connected to the audio mixer, giving you access to all audio sources when live mixing. The ATEM SDI Extreme also has a headphone output.
