Neck-Through Construction

The central component of the E-II Horizon FR-II, which is made in elaborate neck-through construction, is the full-length, three-piece maple neck, which, with its flat Thin-U profile, makes sweep-enriched solos just as easy to play as tight high-speed riffing. In addition, alder body wings, a beautiful quilted maple top and an ebony fingerboard with offset block inlays complete ESP's E-II Horizon.

Split EMGs and Floyd Rose tremolo

For pickup, the ESP E-II Horizon FR-II comes with active EMG 57TW and 66TW humbuckers that combine the best features of passive and active pickups. Accordingly, the pickups respond with organic dynamics to every playing detail, while the enormous transparency ensures a precise representation of every note even with drop tunings or maximum gain. Thanks to the coil-split option, the guitar also boasts top-notch single-coil tones. As a true shredder's guitar, ESP's E-II Horizon FR-II naturally features an original Floyd Rose double-locking tremolo, whose unshakable tuning stability invites uninhibited acrobatics with the vibrato lever.
