In terms of construction, ESP relies on an elaborate neck-thru construction with a three-piece maple neck and body wings made of alder, which, thanks to the "Thin U" neck profile and satin-finish neck, offers excellent playability up to the 24th fret of the rosewood fingerboard. The sharp mid-focus and massive output of the two active EMG 81 humbuckers of the ESP E-II M-II Neck Thru promise cleanly defined metal sounds even at maximum gain or low drop tunings.
