The Fender 1952 Telecaster Relic MN 2-Tone Sunburst #R124289 embodies the glorious Telecaster as it was built in 1952 and can still be heard on numerous recordings today. Of course, only classic features are used in the form of original woods, classic shaping and authentic wiring to get as close as possible to the iconic sounds and the unmistakable feel of the '52 Tele. including Deluxe Hardshell Case and certificate!
Like the early models of the Telecaster in the early 1950s, the Fender '52 Telecaster features a two-piece ash body connected to the one-piece maple neck via the tried-and-true four-bolt binding, evoking the classic feel for the picking hand with its 1952-style "U" neck profile and 7.25-inch fretboard radius.
The classic sound of the Early Fifties Tele with unmistakable twang and growl is provided by two hand-wound Custom Shop '50/'51 Nocaster single coils, which were manufactured according to the classic recipe at the Custom Shop Facility in Corona, California. Both pickups are wired via the traditional wiring, which allows both pickups to be adjusted via a 3-way switch as well as a volume and treble control.
Also a tone-shaping element, the Fender '52 Telecaster Relic MN can't be without a 3-saddle Vintage Style Tele bridge with vintage-style brass tailpieces and stamped serial number. The hardware finish, which has been tastefully ageing, is completed with six vintage-style tuners for the Telecaster's iconic headstock silhouette and a single-ply black phenolic pickguard.
