The Tubbutec Brainstep Controller in detail

The Brainstep Controller is used to control the Brainstep sequencer from Tubbutec becomes the ultimate sequencing and modulation center in your Eurorack modular system! The controller provides direct access to the envelopes, LFOs, accents and glide parameters of each track of the Brainstep sequencer. Each of the four sequencer tracks generates two ADSR envelopes, (clock-synchronized) LFOs and Accent on the CV outputs A and B, which are finally output and combined via the mixer. The controller also provides access to the glide value of the pitch output. The Brainstep Controller is actually a special MIDI controller with TRS-A inputs and outputs. MIDI data received at the TRS input of the controller is merged with the controller data and sent to Brainstep. In this way, no MIDI input is lost when using the controller. As soon as you touch one of the controllers, the changed value is displayed in the sequencer's Display . Each track can be selected individually using the Track 1-4 buttons; it is also possible to edit several or all tracks simultaneously. The Brainstep Controller makes working with the sequencer much easier and also saves you having to study several pages of the detailed operating instructions. Within seconds, you can change parameters across tracks and create the right modulations for the programmed pattern.
