Jeweler Cast by Shakmat Modular is a clever combination of triple crossfader, ring modulator and distortion. If you turn MIX clockwise from the middle position, the knob crossfades between inputs 1 to 3. Since input 3 is normalized to 2, crossfading is also possible with only two signals. If you turn MIX counterclockwise from the middle position, the control fades between input 1 and the ring modulator, which is formed by inputs 1 and 2. On top of that there is a shaper that can be switched between pretty heavy Distortion and a Waveshaper . The module has separate outputs for Mix and Shape, this allows the parallel use of the clean and the distorted signal. Thanks to the AC mode, Jeweler Cast is also ideally suited for crossfading and processing control voltages. For the parameters Mix and Shape there are CV inputs with (bipolar) attenuators.
