The input jack of the Hotone MP-100 Ampero has three switchable input modes, which allow the effects unit to be optimally adapted to electric guitars, electric basses, acoustic guitars or keyboards and synthesizers with line level. The Modeling Floorboard provides a total of 64 natural-sounding amp simulations, based on well-known amp classics and covering every range between crystal-clear clean sounds and brute high-gain distortion. The amp models can also be combined with 60 loudspeaker simulations and 100 effects, including classics such as Chorus, Flanger, Phaser, Overdrive and Wah as well as compressors, ring modulators and Bit Crusher. The expression pedal allows you to control certain effects parameters during the song.

Looper and Drum Machine

In addition to its comprehensive range of amp, speaker and effects simulations, the Hotone MP-100 Ampero also features an integrated looper that allows you to record and play back a wide variety of backing tracks with 100 seconds of recording time in mono or 50 seconds in stereo mode. The Drum Machine 100, which is also on board, provides different rhythm patterns from the most common music genres. In addition, the Hotone Ampero is equipped with a chromatic tuner, which puts the instrument into the right tuning in no time at all.

Last but not least, the Hotone Ampero convinces with an extensive connection periphery, which makes it an all-rounder for almost any application on stage, in the recording studio or the home living room. While the unbalanced stereo outputs are intended for passing on the signal to guitar amplifiers, the balanced XLR stereo outputs allow direct connection to a mixing console, active monitors or recording equipment. A USB port is also provided for use of the internal audio interface with a DAW or the free editor software. A MIDI input, a port for a second, optional expression pedal, aux-in and headphone jack complete the Hotone Ampero modeling processor.
