The Progressive EZX offers a selection of the entire sample range of The Progressive Foundry SDX for Superior Drummer 2, specially optimized for the requirements of EZdrummer 2. 3 complete drum sets are available, recorded by engineer/producer Forrester Savell, whose work on groundbreaking album productions by bands such as Karnivool, Dead Letter Circus and I Am Giant has significantly shaped the sound of some of the most important representatives of progressive metal/rock in the modern Australian metal and heavy scene.

The drums were recorded at the renowned Sing Sing Recording Studios in Melbourne, Australia. Over the course of its 35-year existence, this studio complex has amassed a vast and decidedly exquisite collection of the highest quality microphones and rare outboard equipment. With these first-class technical prerequisites combined with the dense wooden walls of the perfectly balanced A-Room, Sing Sing offers the perfect environment for powerful and transparent drumset recordings. The drums themselves, recorded by none other than Karnivool's drummer Steve Judd, offer a unique selection of drum sets from the manufacturers DW, Ludwig and Pearl.

In combination with the included mixer presets for EZdrummer 2, the Progressive EZX offers unbeatable sonic possibilities and perfect sounds for progressive metal, heavy rock or a special blend of different styles of rock.
