Royer R-DB20 dBooster In-Line Signal Booster
The Royer R-DB20 dBooster is an extremely compact phantom-powered In-Line Signal Booster for Passive Ribbon and Dynamic Microphones. The R-DB20 supplies all non-phantom-powered Microphones with additional Gain before the actual pre-amp stage. Covered in a robust steel enclosure, it enables additional amplification of 12dB or 20dB (switchable), while providing low noise and distortion thanks to Class-A circuitry. Impedance of the R-DB20 is 3.6kΩ, which is higher than usual for many pre-amplifiers and therefore better suited for Ribbon Microphones.
