The Tama Starclassic Walnut/Birch WBR42S Red Oyster is a professional shell set with hybrid walnut/ birch boilers. The innovative material combination of walnut and birch produces a modern, warm sound with a very high bass content, which is additionally clear and articulated. The all-rounder drums from Tama has the legendary Starclassic kettle hardware, which convinces with Star Cast Mounting System, cast iron tires and spring-loaded Floor-Tom legs. In combination with the Evans skins and the Starclassic Lugs a contemporary drum set with a contemporary sound and impressive foil finish is created.

Starclassic boiler hardware: Built for professionals

The Zink die-cast tension tires are extremely solid and emphasize the sound. In addition, they optimize the contact between the screw and the tension ring and thus ensure tuning security and stability. The bass drum claws of the Starclassic Walnut/Birch drums are equipped with rubber pads that protect the tension tire and improve the resonance behaviour of the bass drum. The Floor-Tom legs are air-suspended and the tried and tested Starcast Mounting System ensures that the boilers vibrate unhindered and the sound unfolds perfectly. The Starclassic Lugs are extremely stable and perfectly suited for everyday touring. From the factory the toms and floor toms are covered with Evans G2 clear skins. On the bass drum there is an Evans EQ4 skin with a damper ring, so that nothing stands in the way of immediate playing fun.
