The Yamaha MX88 is a professional digital synthesizer. It combines the sounds of the Yamaha Motif XS synthesizer with an 88-key weighted keyboard. The MX88 has in excess of 1000 voices such as piano, electric piano, strings, synth sounds, drums and many more with 128-note polyphony. The MX88 is also very easy to use with its sound category selection and simple split/layer function. The keyboard also features an audio interface to allow seamless integration with your DAW via USB cable. The MX88's VCM effects simulate vintage analogue synthesizer sounds. The synthesizer also can play arpeggio patterns and drum sounds. The MX88 also has an onboard sequencer for creating live playback without a computer.
