The MAUI 5 is an ultra-light and compact column PA that can reach official sound levels up to 120 dB with 800W peak power. The setup of the LD Systems MAUI systems is lightning fast thanks to special MultiPIN connectors; peripherals such as cables or stands are not required here. The special arrangement of the mid/high-range speakers also results in an extra-wide horizontal coverage angle of 120°, which allows even large and wide rooms to be covered effectively.

No matter from which listener position in the room - the complete frequency spectrum is reproduced and thus a balanced sound performance is achieved everywhere.

The MAUI5 system consists of four individual components: A subwoofer unit, in which the powerful Class D amplifiers as well as the mixer unit have also been integrated, and three clip-on array speakers, which can be attached as needed. This means that for smaller events, such as a living room concert or a training situation, where equipping only one column unit could be sufficient, the transport weight of the system would shrink to a minimum of just 11.3 kg!

When fully expanded, the transport weight increases, but so does the power level. With 120dB peak power, the MAUI5 can be fully expanded so easily already conference rooms, smaller churches or clubs effectively sound.

For many applications already sufficiently equipped and extremely practical integrated into the subwoofer unit, the 4 channel mixer comes with integrated Bluetooth technology. This allows wireless streaming of audio files in addition to the existing connection options of the system. For example, it is possible to connect a vocal microphone, a guitar and a stereo keyboard to the speaker system via cable and mix them, while you can playback via smartphone or tablet in parallel.
