LD-Systems expands the popular MAUI series with the MAUI 11 G3 MIX and MAUI 28 G3 MIX models, which further extend the application possibilities of the MAUI G3 column system with the integrated, digital 6-channel mixing console, professional effects and convenient wireless remote control via smartphone or tablet. This makes the LD-Systems MAUI G3 MIX models an all-in-one solution for all artists who do not want to bring a separate mixing console to their live gigs. The MAUI 28 G3 MIX offers 1,030 watts of RMS power (2,060 watts peak) for a powerful, precise sound, ideal for singer/songwriters, small bands, mobile DJs and sound reinforcement at weddings or company parties.

Features

The elegant design includes two aluminium column elements on the subwoofer, 12 x 3.5'' midrange drivers, 2 x 1'' tweeters and a phase plug design for even sound distribution and BEM-optimized waveguide. The crossover point has been optimized to reduce distortion and make the sound more transparent, with a dispersion of 120° x 30°. The columns are designed as cardioid speakers, with controlled low-mid frequencies to the front and attenuation of up to 18 dB to the rear.

The subwoofer with 12" chassis and four bass reflex ports delivers clear bass up to 37 Hz. A second subwoofer boosts the bass range by 6 dB and enables a cardioid configuration. The subwoofer is also equipped with a hard-wearing polyurea coating.

Integrated 6-channel mixer

The integrated 6-channel mixer offers an Easy and Expert mode, with selectable 3-band EQs or 5-fold full parametrics. An effects section with reverb, Delay and dynamics is available, controllable via app. Two MAUI 28 G3 MIX can be linked for stereo applications, doubling the mixer channels and allowing all channels to be controlled from one system.
