Toontrack's Alt-Rock EZX sound library is an extension for Toontrack's EZ Drummer 2, with 2 new drum kits and lots of presets featuring the characteristic sounds of the 90s alternative rock bands. One reason for the excellent sound quality of this EZX is that it was sampled very carefully in the Electrical Audio Studio in Chicago. Steve Albini's influence on this sound library is audible, as he is a specialist in this genre, for example through his experiences with Nirvana, the Pixies and PJ Harvey.
