3-band tone control and integrated effects

The classic 3-band tone control, which can be assigned separately to both channels of the Boss Nextone Special, also allows precise adjustment of the sound. In addition, the compact guitar combo offers the most important effects with reverb and delay, whose tap-tempo switch makes selecting the delay time particularly convenient. Furthermore, a serial effect path is available for looping additional effects into the signal path.

80 watt power amplifier with variable character and power reduction

Last but not least, the Boss Nextone Special Combo has an 80-watt power amp that contributes significantly to the sonic diversity of the compact combo. The four-stage rotary switch selects between the authentic reproduced characters of the most legendary power amp tubes, from the gentle break-up of the 6V6 to the rich overtone sound of the EL84 and the juicy mids of the 6L6 to the British bite of the EL34. In addition, the amp's power can be reduced to 60, 40, 20 watts and even 0.5 watts, making the guitar amp suitable as a bedroom amp for your home.
