Modularity and seamless integration

The Intech Studio BU16 is a customizable, modular MIDI controller designed to meet the diverse needs of today's musicians and producers. The compact device features 16 tactile buttons arranged in a 4x4 grid and supports various control modes, including momentary, toggle and multi-level switching functions. This allows the BU16 to flexibly control DAWs, trigger samples and start and stop clips.

Another feature of the BU16 is its fully customizable LED illumination. Each button can be equipped with individually programmable, multi-coloured LEDs, which not only facilitate operation in dark environments but also enable visual Feedback and quick differentiation of button functions. The robust design is complemented by an aluminium front plate and gold, spring-loaded contact pins that ensure a reliable connection and longevity.

The BU16 is powered and connected via a single USB-C connection, allowing up to eight modules to be powered simultaneously. The device is cross-platform compatible and works seamlessly with Windows, macOS, Linux and mobile platforms. The integration of LUA scripting allows experienced users to create complex control profiles and thus exploit the full potential of the device.
