With the Laney Black Country Customs The Difference Engine, the traditional company from Birmingham sends a particularly versatile Stereo delay pedal for electric guitar into the race, which combines extensive sound options with intuitive operation. The basis of the enormously multifaceted sounds of the BCC The Difference Engine is three basic delay types with the characteristic sound properties of analogue, digital and dynamic delay effects, which can be freely combined with each other. In addition to the clearly arranged control panel with four knobs and an OLED display with a rotary encoder and two buttons, stereo inputs and outputs, MIDI and a connection for optionally available expression pedals complete the Black Country Customs Difference Engine pedal from Laney.
Three delay types with characteristic properties
Three delay types with characteristic sound properties form the basis of the enormously versatile sound options of BCC The Difference Engine. Analogue stands for the warm timbres and subtly modulated echoes of traditional tape delays, while Digital promises the full Eighties sound with epic sonic character. Last but not least, Dynamic delivers modern delay sounds that can be shaped via the playing dynamics if desired. naturally, all three delay types of the Difference Engine can be freely combined to realize your own sound ideas.
Intuitive operation
Despite the enormous variety of sounds, the Laney BCC The Difference Engine convinces with a clear operating concept, with which the setting of the personal sound can be done quickly and easily. While controls for Mix, Color, Tone and Repeats give direct access to the most important effect parameters, the OLED display in combination with the rotary encoder allows for more in-depth editing of the settings. In addition, the Delay-Zeit can be adjusted quickly and conveniently thanks to tap tempo.
