Full solid Sigma guitar in traditional dreadnought construction including softshell case

The Sigma SDR-35 produces a powerful and warm sound thanks to its solid construction. This traditional dreadnought acoustic guitar is perfect for expressive strumming and vocal accompaniment. At the same time, a flat neck promises excellent playability in all 20 frets, so that even complex chords can be mastered effortlessly. The instrument is rounded off by a gossamer-thin high-gloss finish that perfectly complements its timeless appearance. The scope of delivery includes a lightweight, sturdy softshell case equipped with backpack straps.

      Construction and woods

For the construction of the extensive dreadnought, the manufacturer uses a Sitka spruce top and an Indian rosewood body. The back is additionally equipped with an insert made of Madagascar rosewood so that the bass frequencies are developed very present and clear. At the same time, the mahogany neck with an ebony fingerboard promises optimal access, even to the higher registers.

      Hardware and Design

To enable a precise tuning of the 6 steel strings, open nickel tuners are embedded in the headstock, which perfectly complements the appearance with their filigree butterbean buttons. A saddle and a 44.5 mm wide nut made of bone also guarantee a clean intonation on the 645 mm long scale. The individual components of the body are bordered by multi-ply bindings that contrast tastefully with the dark rosewood and aging toner of the top. The Sigma SDR-35 is completed by a large Tortoise pickguard and an adjacent Multi-Stripe soundhole rosette.
