      Preamp for electric bass with Vintage overdrive, 4-band tone control and balanced direct-out

      With the Darkglass VIntage Deluxe V3, the Finnish bass effects forge presents the next generation of the popular preamp pedal, which offers significantly enhanced sound shaping possibilities and authentic Vintage sounds. Accordingly, the 4-band tone control has selectable center frequencies of the mid-bands, while the combination of "Era" and "Drive" controls determines the basic sound character. In addition, a balanced output is available for direct bass pickup from the stage or recording studio.

      Versatile Vintage Overdrive

      Based on the same analog circuit as the Microtubes Vintage , the Darkglass Vintage Deluxe V3 also features the interactive "Era" and "Drive" controls, which determine the basic character of the overdrive. The spectrum ranges from the warm, middle-heavy sound of the 1970s to the metallic glittering hi-fi sound of the 1980s and 1990s, with which almost every style between blues, funk pop and rock can be served. In addition, the pedal offers a musical 4-band tone control with semi-parametric mid-bands for fine-tuning the bass sound. The Attack and Grunt switches can also be used to control the amount of saturated treble and bass. The Blend control can also be used to mix clean and effect signals.

      Preamp suitable for stage and studio use

      In addition, the Darkglass Microtubes Vintage Deluxe V3 is equipped with a symmetrical Direct-Out, which makes it easy to connect the preamp to a mixer or recording device. A ground lift switch is provided so that any humming loops that may occur do not cloud the melodious sound. In addition, the Helsinki effects pedal has a parallel output located next to the input, allowing the unprocessed signal to be routed to another effects chain or a second amplifier, making even complex bass setups possible for expansive sound walls or dry/wet applications.
