Universal Audio's Volt 4 USB 2.0 Audio Interface is a handy recording tool for your desktop or on the go - whether you're a PC, Mac, iPad or iPhone user: create legendary-sounding music productions, livestreams and podcasts wherever you want! Its modern design makes it look great on any desktop or in any studio, while its rugged construction ensures years of audio recording fun.

The Volt 4 offers a total of four channels, allowing you to record microphones, instruments, synthesizers, drum machines and more in high-resolution 192 kHz / 24-bit format. Vocals or guitars benefit from the Vintage Mic Preamp mode, which can be activated for channel 1 + 2 if needed. Based on classic UA tube amplifiers, this gives you a rich, full sound for direct, album-ready recordings.

On the rear panel, in addition to the stereo output for monitors, there is a MIDI In / Output for master keyboards or other midi-enabled devices. Although the interface is bus-powered, there is an option to use a 5V DC power supply, especially for mobile users, to get full power on the road and in combination with the iPad/iPhone.

Get started with professional software

The Volt interface comes with a wide range of software that gives you the flexibility to quickly dive into the world of recording, mixing and sound design. Among others, the recording software Ableton Live Lite, a virtual guitar sim from Softtube (Marshall Plexi Classic Amp), various virtual instruments from UJAM and Spitfire as well as the Melodyne Essential version from Celemony are on board.

At the same time, you get free access to the trial version of UAD Spark for 30 days, which offers an ever-growing world-class library of plug-ins and instruments at a low monthly price.
