Touch 8 - the audio interface you want to touch directly
The Touch 8 is an audio interface that makes studio work noticeably more direct. Instead of a mouse and menu, you are immersed in a large 10-inch multi-touch screen and control levels, monitoring and routing just as you would with real studio equipment. Move faders, press buttons, read levels. Everything happens on the device itself and yet remains fully integrated into your computer setup.
Intuitive working instead of searching for menus
The touchscreen is not a gimmick, but the center of the workflow. Virtual faders react immediately, metering is always in view and important functions such as phantom power, pad or monitoring can be controlled directly on the channel. Touch operation is complemented by a hardware encoder, which allows faders to be adjusted with extreme precision and control. If you want, you can work in parallel with the iCON iO Pro software and manage the entire routing from the comfort of your computer. Hardware and software work seamlessly together.
Four powerful inputs for real studio work
Four high-quality mic line instrument inputs with Neutrik combo sockets effortlessly cover classic recording scenarios. With up to 75 dB gain, even quiet dynamic microphones feel at home, while guitars, synths or line sources are clean and controlled. The high-quality AD and DA converters ensure open sound, high transparency and a wide dynamic range when recording and monitoring.
Monitoring that adapts to your studio
Two independent headphone outputs with separate volume control make sessions with musicians more relaxed. The Alt Speaker function allows you to quickly switch between main monitors and secondary monitoring. Direct monitoring with extremely low latency, dim function and clear metering displays ensure that levels and signals remain under control at all times. In addition, 15 segment LED meters provide immediate feedback even without looking at the screen.
Standalone operation and storable setups
The Touch 8 also works without a running DAW or active software. Central functions such as monitoring, gain structure and headphone mixes can be used directly on the device. Six storable presets allow complete setups to be stored and recalled at the touch of a button.
More channels as your setup grows
The Touch 8 can be expanded by up to eight additional channels via the integrated ADAT input and output. Ideal for larger recording setups, Drum sessions or external preamps. Word clock input and output ensure clean synchronization in digital studio environments.
Streaming and mobile recording without pull-ups
With the UNI OTG function, the Touch 8 becomes an audio center for iOS and Android. Direct streaming to smartphones or tablets works stably and in high quality, while the interface continues to be powered via the external 12V power supply. In combination with iO Pro, loopback routings and plug-in applications can be realized, ideal for tutorials, podcasts or Live streams.
