The Fryette Power Station Guitar Amplifier Power Attenuator is an easy to use, tuneable reactive load coupled to a vacuum tube power amplifier that fine tunes your amplifier response which then drives your speaker cabinet. Essentially any undesirable volume loss or excessive noise/gain being produced by your setup can be rectified by using the extremely portable and lightweight Power Station.
The Power Station can mainly be used in three ways - as an attenuator for controlling the volume of high powered amplifiers with none of the drawbacks of a conventional attenuator - as a power booster for low powered amps - or as a high quality adjustable reactive load for silent recording.
As well as performing in these three roles the Power Station can also be used as a post-distortion effects loop in any amp that doesn't include one, a mono power amplifier for guitar/floor/modelling preamps, an effects power amp for a Wet/Dry amp rig, as on-stage monitor power amplification for live modelling direct to FOH systems and a desktop power amp for adding tube power sound to direct recording for any instrument or signal source.
