Innovative voice coil made of aluminum

The innovative DMC7 capsule was developed specifically for vocal and speech pickup. Thanks to the innovative and unique voice coil made of aluminum, the V7 offers a very fresh, open sound. It allows a lifelike recording of the voice and the balanced sound also facilitates the work of the sound engineer. The super-cardioid polar pattern and the sophisticated acoustic design of the capsule help it to stand out against other instruments on stage and allow a very high resistance to feedback.

Patented, integrated bearing

The new, patented bearing effectively decouples the capsule from the cabinet and thus reduces handling noise, impact noise and rumble particularly effectively. This means that the voice is always in the foreground, even during energetic stage shows.

Robust metal housing and roll-away protection

The housing consists only of solid metal parts - no delicate plastic parts. The handle is made of proven zinc die-cast parts that can withstand even the highest loads. The durable microphone basket is made of high-quality spring steel and is resistant to deformation and corrosion. The bevelled edges along the microphone basket prevent the microphone from rolling away on flat surfaces such as the stage floor or your guitar amp.

Internal windscreen

The red internal windscreen efficiently reduces unwanted wind and pop noise (e.g. from consonants, and explosive sounds).

Gold-plated XLR contacts

The gold-plated XLR contacts ensure maximum reliability and permanently prevent any kind of corrosion. The proven neodymium magnets, tight manufacturing tolerances and high-quality workmanship allow for outstanding sound quality, high sensitivity and high consistency.

Versatile

Thanks to its very well-balanced, neutral tuning, it allows miking not only vocals but also a wide range of other sources, such as miking speaker cabinets from electric guitars, brass instruments; drums to choirs - both on stage and in the studio.
